I’m extremely pleased to show you the first cover of my first book! The book is called Out of Shadows and is the first in a multi-book YA series called Roots of Creation.
The story follows a young girl named Jak, as she struggles to survive with nothing but a useless magical power and a drive to find her lost mother. Meanwhile, she is beset on all sides by enemies and supposed enemies.
I’m very pleased with this cover. I think it has terrific distribution of light and shadow (something that draws from a theme of the book), and Jak herself looks wonderful!
